Inventory of Drug-Taking Situations (IDTS) Alcohol Inventory of Drug-Taking Situations (IDTS) Drugs © Addiction Research Foundation The IDTS is used to provide a profile of the situations in which a client has used drugs over the past year. Users are required to complete a seperate IDTS for each substance used. The IDTS will not provide you with a result at the end of the assessment.
